And it looks like thousands agreed. KFC released a limited-edition firelog that smells like its famous fried chicken — and it sold out in hours on Thursday.

A firelog is a manufactured log constructed to be used as wood fuel. Firelogs are designed to be inexpensive, while being easier to ignite, and burn longer, and more efficiently than firewood. Firelogs are traditionally manufactured using two methods.
木柴是加工過的木頭，用作木質燃料。木柴定價不高，更易燃，燃燒時間更長，比普通柴火高效。木柴的製作方法通常有兩種。
The first uses only compressed sawdust and the second uses sawdust and paraffin, which is mixed and extruded into a log shape.
第一種只用壓縮木屑，第二種將木屑和石蠟混合後壓制成原木狀。
The extruded firelogs are individually wrapped in paper packaging which can be ignited to start burning the firelog as the paraffin is readily combustible.

“Imbued with the unmistakable, mouth-watering aroma of Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe, the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog finally puts to rest the age-old dilemma, ‘How can I make this fire a hundred bajillion times better?'” the fast-food chain said on their website.

The savory firelog was created by Enviro-Log, a Yule log manufacturer, and made of 100 percent recycled materials. “It is the result of countless hours of research and development, all done over the last couple of months since we had this idea,” said KFC.

The firelog can burn up to three hours and unlike real chicken, it doesn’t expire and it has no shelf life. KFC did warn buyers to “please do not attempt to eat it,” and cautioned campers that it “may attract bears.”
這款木柴燃燒時間長達3小時，而且不像真的雞肉，它不會過期，沒有保質期。肯德基警告消費者“不要試吃”，還警告野營者木柴“可能會引來熊”。
If you were late to the chicken party and didn’t get a firelog this year, we suggest just lounging by the fire with a bucket of KFC.
