延遲退休方案將在明年正式出臺

China will set a plan to raise the statutory retirement age in 2017 to relieve pressures from an aging population, an official researcher said.

近日，一名官方研究人員表示，我國將於2017年出臺延遲法定退休年齡的方案，以減輕人口老齡化帶來的壓力

"The plan is likely to be implemented in 2022 after a five-year transitional period," China News Service quoted Jin Weigang, a researcher with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, as saying Saturday.

中國人力資源和社會保障部社會保障研究所所長金維剛週六對中國新聞社表示：“該方案出臺後會有五年的過渡期，或到2022年正式實施。”

The government is preparing to postpone the retirement age as a shrinking workforce has begun to bite into the country's labor market and pension system.

由於勞動力人口的萎縮已經殃及到了國家的勞動力市場和退休金制度，所以政府正在準備推遲退休年齡。

The population of people aged between 16 to 60 fell by 4.87 million to 911 million in 2015, the fourth consecutive year of decline, official data showed.

官方數據顯示，2015年，16歲到60歲之間的人口爲911萬人，比去年同期下降了487萬，這一數字也是連續第4年下降。

China's retirement age is 60 for men, 55 for female white-collar workers and 50 for female blue-collar employees.

Jin said the government could learn from flexible retirement policies in other countries.
