"布朗尼加分"口語課堂:珍惜眼前福

可可網友們，大家好。說起目前的股市，很多人都會唏噓感嘆一番，也總能聽到有人說：“唉，當初我要是在多少點的時候就賣出，我不但不賠，還賺呢！” 但現實當中，相當一部分人在面對未來可能更多的利潤面前，會選擇放棄目前的利益。“見好就收”屬於說的容易，做起來猶豫。不過，已到手的東西，纔是自己的東西啊。

英語中有一條經典習語，A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. 漢語翻譯同樣經典，一鳥在手，勝於雙鳥在林。更通俗的翻譯爲“多得不如現得”。因爲這一習語，現在，我們就用a bird in the hand 來指代“現實可得的東西；穩操勝券的事；惜取眼前福”。

我們來看一小段文字：

He had one quite reasonable offer for his used car, but he turned it down. Then he could find no taker at all. He learned that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. 有人出很公道的價錢要買他的舊車，但他拒絕了。其後，他全然找不到買主。他由此得出一個教訓：奢求不如實得。

我們再來看一個小對話。

A: My boyfriend is so stingy. Look at Amy, and her boyfriend. 我男朋友真小氣。看看Amy, 還有人家男朋友。

B: Be nice, Linda. I think your boyfriend is doing the right thing. You have to save up for the wedding and the house. 別這樣，我覺得你男朋友沒做錯什麼。你們總得爲婚禮和房子攢錢啊。

A: You don’t know. What if I pretend to split up with him? Will he agree to buy me the fur coat? 你知道什麼啊。假如，我假裝和他分手，他能不能答應給我買那件貂皮大衣呢？

B: He is the bird in the hand. If you continue playing these games, I’m afraid you might lose him one day. 他纔是你實實在在擁有的。你再這麼鬧下去，我擔心哪天你會連他都失去。
