植樹節的歷史 The History of Tree planting Day

Afforestation can not only make our homesgreen and beautiful, but also can play a role in expanding forest resources,preventing soil erosion, protect the farmland, climate regulation, thepromotion of economic development. It is a contemporary grand project tobenefit the future generations. While "Arbor Day" is the day that somecountries in the form of law to promote the benefit of forest, and mobilize themasses to participate in afforestation. According to the length of time, peoplehave Tree-planting Day, week or month to plant trees, and all of them call Tree-plantingDay. Through this activity, to stimulate people's love for forest andafforestation, to enhance the awareness of forest function to promot afforestation,reaching the aim of loving forest, protecting forest, expanding forestresources and improving the ecological environment. It is a festival tomobilize the national to plan trees. China's Arbor Day begins to commemoratethe death of Mr. Sun Zhongshan, who is the earliest people aware the importanceof forest and advocate afforestation in the China modern history. China set therule that March 12th is Arbor Day, to encourage people of all nationalities forafforestation, greening of the motherland, improving the environment, benefit thefuture generations. Each Arbor Day has different themes, 2013 Arbor Day’s themeis: carry out in a deep-going way for afforestation, vigorously promote theconstruction of ecological year the school and some companieswill organize people to plant trees.

植樹造林不僅可以綠化和美化家園，同時還可以起到擴大山林資源、防止水土流失、保護農田、調節氣候、促進經濟發展等作用，是一項利於當代、造福子孫的宏偉工程。而“植樹節”則是一些國家以法律形式規定的以宣傳森林效益，並動員羣衆參加造林爲活動內容的節日。按時間長短可分爲植樹日、植樹周或植樹月，總稱植樹節。通過這種活動，激發人們愛林、造林的感情，提高人們對森林功用的認識，促進國土綠化，達到愛林護林和擴大森林資源、改善生態環境的目的。是爲了動員全民植樹而規定的節日。我國的植樹節開始時是爲紀念孫中山先生逝世，孫中山是中國近代史上最早意識到森林的重要意義和倡導植樹造林的人。我國規定以3月12日爲中國的植樹節，以鼓勵全國各族人民植樹造林，綠化祖國，改善環境，造福子孫後代。每一年的植樹節都有不同的主題，2013年的植樹節主題是：深入開展造林綠化，大力推進生態文明建設。每年各學校單位都會組織去植樹。
