A: I think, for this thing, he has gone too far.

第二， 地道表達
from the housetops
1. 解詞釋義
From the housetops是副詞性短語，意思是“公開地”“廣泛地”。通常與declare，cry，shout，proclaim等動詞連用。 短語shout/proclaim sth. from the housetops的意思就是“公開宣佈某事”。

e.g. I wanted to spare my boss’s feelings so that I did not argue with him.

3. nobody but：除了……沒有別人
e.g. Nobody but she knew it.
除她之外無人曉得。
e.g. He seems to trust nobody But you.
他好像除了你以外，誰也不相信。
