dawn是指早上的晨曦，crack則是裂縫的意思，at the crack of dawn也就是“破曉”了。
這集開場一段對話就已經蠻好笑的了，Hodgins說感到他養的“大慄鰓角金龜”（這玩意兒的名字還是疊詞……）要產卵了，一大早就跑來看，結果看到她們排在門前。這話說得太跳躍，再一次讓Brennan迷茫了，說你的金龜子在門口排着隊？！OTZ結果Hodgins的回答更搞，說是“土撥鼠”剛！其實是叫做“土撥鼠”的女童子軍啦~~

Cam作爲boss果然瞭解Brennan啊，當下就跟她說不要字面去理解“扔骨頭”的意思，這只是一個比喻，因爲Brennan的確有這毛病哈~~那麼扔給某人一根骨頭作爲俚語是什麼意思呢？如果扔給一隻餓狗一根光溜溜的骨頭，它當然會很開心，但卻不會填飽肚子。那麼throw someone a bone就是給人一點兒表面上的小恩小惠，也就是讓人家面子上好看，心理上好過，沒什麼實質的好處的。

這兩句對話很有意思，Booth感嘆說Angela真能幹，用了一個選擇疑問句，但是兩個分句都是同一個問題，鬧得Brennan再次困惑。試想一下當你讓人選擇，兩個選項又都是一樣的時候，可不就是反覆強調的意味了麼？這個說法在口語裏面也蠻多見的哦，挺好玩的。

Bones 5.06觀後感
   1. Bones is back! AGAIN!! Thank God some baseball match is over, finally... Bunches of FOX's shows...
   2. OK，Angela & Wendell? Very cute. But we all know it won't last. Period.
   3. （柒今兒吃錯藥了啊猛開英文……）屠宰場是否不人道呢？深究的話，人類當初或許就不該直立行走，學會使用工具……我們現在只能夠減少不必要的屠殺，並且放低身段，不要以地球主宰的姿態來對待自然與生命。（BBC新出的紀錄片Life，某柒強烈推薦！！）
   4. 拍桌子感嘆B&B的戲份怎能如此甜蜜……好較，他們倆這都還沒在一起哪！好吧，都跟老夫老妻似的的~~~
