Nothing's Carved in Stone (NCIS) 是一个具有非常专业的演奏水平的日本摇滚乐队。乐队始于吉他手生形真一在原乐队Ellegarden2008年解散后，邀请STRAITENER乐队的贝司手日向秀和一起做一些录音。日向秀和推荐了和他一起合作过的鼓手(FULLARMAR)大喜多崇规也加入进来。早期他们三人在没有主唱的条件下开始了录音工作。生形真一在Myspace上注意到了原ABSTRACT MASH的主唱村松拓并对他产生了兴趣，于是和大喜多崇规一起去看了他们的现场演出并被打动。于是村松拓被邀请加入乐队。NCIS正式结成。

在同年12月发行第一张单曲“Around The Clock”，同时也进行他们第二次的ONE MAN TOUR-“Rigid Clocks TOUR”
2010年6月9日发行第二张专辑“Sands of Time”，7月10日开始“Sands of Time TOUR”。
因为他们的夏季巡演，比起去年参加的ROCK FESTIAVAL少了许多。
2011年6月8日发行第三张专辑“echo”，6月18日开始“Tour echo”。
2012年8月15日发行第四张专辑“Silver Sun”在EPIC Records Japan初次亮相，正式主流出道。
