美國財政部部發行面值2美元的熊貓'吉利錢'

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) at the US Department of Treasury released the $2 Lucky Panda note, the newest addition to the Lucky Money Collection.
近日，美國財政部造幣和印鈔局對外發行面值兩美元的熊貓“吉利錢”，這是“吉利錢系列”的最新產品。

The crimson note features two lovely pandas, one sitting and one crouching, as well as wishes for longevity and happiness in Chinese.
這款“吉利錢”爲深紅色，上面印有一坐一臥兩隻可愛的熊貓，以及“福壽雙臨”的中文祝福語。

The product is exquisitely designed with decorative Chinese symbolism and is packaged in a red folder with embossed, gold foil, according to BEP Marketing Director Kevin Brown.
造幣和印鈔局營銷總監凱文·布朗稱，該產品設計精巧，帶有中國特色的裝飾性圖案，吉利錢被放在紅色封套中，上面飾有金箔。

This "auspicious" product also features an uncirculated $2 Federal Reserve note with a serial number beginning with "888," as 8 has long been regarded as the luckiest number in Chinese culture.
這款吉祥產品還有一枚非流通的兩美元美聯儲紙幣，編號以“888”開頭，因爲在中國文化裏8一直被認爲是最吉利的數字。

Tracy Garrett, BEP public affairs specialist, said pandas symbolize peace, harmony, and friendship.
造幣和印鈔局公共事務專員特雷西·加勒特稱，熊貓象徵着和平、和諧和友誼。

The note is sold for $12.88 through online stores, phones, mail.
這款“吉利錢”售價12.88美元，公衆可通過網店、電話、郵購的方式購買。
