國泰君安國際行政總裁失聯 股價大跌

Shares in a Hong Kong brokerage have plummeted after it announced on Monday its chief executive could not be contacted.

週一，國泰君安國際(Guotai Junan International)股價大跌。此前該公司宣佈，其行政總裁閻峯失聯。

Shares in Guotai Junan International fell 15 per cent to HK$2.78 in the first 10 minutes of trading, after the securities broker said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that it has not been able to reach its chief executive Yim Fung, who is also the company's chairman, since November 18.

在今日交易開始後的頭10分鐘內，國泰君安國際股價下挫15%，至每股2.78港元。此前，該公司在遞交給港交所(HKEx)的一份聲明中表示：“自2015年11月18日開始未能與本公司董事會主席、執行董事及行政總裁閻峯博士取得聯絡。”

No further explanation was given.

Guotai added that it had appointed other board members to temporarily act in his stead and that current operations were otherwise "normal."

國泰君安國際補充稱，已委任其他董事暫時代理閻峯的職務，並表示目前經營情況“正常”。

From the statement: The Company has been unable to reach Dr. YIM Fung ("Dr. Yim"), Chairman of the Board, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since 18 November 2015.

As Dr. Yim currently cannot discharge his duties, the Board resolved on 22 November 2015 to appoint Ms. QI Haiying, Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to temporarily act as Chairman of the Board until further notice. In addition, the Board resolved to appoint Mr. WONG Tung Ching, Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to temporarily act as Chief Executive Officer of the Company until further notice.

“由於閻博士暫時未能履行其職責，本公司董事會於11月22日的會議上決議通過委任執行董事及副行政總裁祁海英女士代行董事會主席職務，直至另行通告爲止。董事會亦同時決議通過委任執行董事及副行政總裁王冬青先生代行行政總裁職務，直至另行通告爲止。

The Board confirms that the current operations of the Company are normal and stable.

“董事會確認本集團目前經營情況正常及穩定。”

Brokerages in the region have come under more scrutiny since China's stock market rout during the summer.
