熱詞:Women only Compartment 女士專用車廂

夏季女性穿着比較清涼，不少“鹹豬手”開始蠢蠢欲動。近日不少網友爆料在地鐵車廂遭遇色狼。對此有人建議地鐵開設女性專用車廂。

Guangzhou Daily recently launched a survey on its micro blog about the necessity to openwomen-only compartmentsafter reports of several molestation cases. Around two in three respondents ticked "yes".

針對近日發生的多起“猥褻”案件，廣州日報近期在微博上發起一個調查，詢問人們地鐵有無必要開設女性專用車廂，三分之二的調查參與者認爲有必要。

上面報道中的women-only compartment就是“女性專用車廂”，也可稱作women-only passenger car。目前日本、巴西、墨西哥等國家都開設了專供女性使用的車廂以應對地鐵上的lewd conduct（猥褻行爲），特別是groping（偷摸）。這種車廂一般都是供rush hour（高峯時段）使用的。有的國家的商場等公共場所還設有women's parking space（女士專用停車位）以方便女士停車或確保她們的安全。

近期地鐵上發生了很多起molestation（猥褻）案，犯案的人被稱爲molester（猥褻者）。猥褻是sexual harassment（性騷擾）的一種，英語中有很多詞可以表示“猥褻”，比如obscenity、indecency、lewdness等，在語言或寫作方面的淫穢被稱爲smuttiness或者dirtiness。
