1.現在一般時

I am a doctor.

我是一個醫生。

She is very slim.

2.過去一般時

Tom was not at home.

My friends were very busy.

3.將來一般時

Jane will be taller next year.

明年珍妮會高一些。

Will you be friendlyto her?

你會對她很友好嗎?

4.過去將來一般時

She said that she would be in her study that night.

她說那天晚上她會在書房裏。

Father reminded methat the food would be cold in a few minutes.

爸爸提醒我食品過幾分鐘就涼了。

5.現在進行時

I am being a grandfather.

我難得一次當一回爺爺。

He is being modest today.

他難得今天謙虛一次。

6.過去進行時

He was being brave.

他難得那樣勇敢一回。

We were being sad.

我們很少那樣憂傷的。

7.現在完成時

The teachers have been back for 5 days.

教師們已經回來5天了。

I have been here for 5 years.

我在這裏已經有5年了。

8.過去完成時

The temple had been out of repair for a long time.

那廟有好久沒修了。

Some soccer fans had been mad before the police stopped them.

在警察制止前，有些球迷在發狂。
