David：Elvin，you made it!

Elvin：I made it! Thank you so much for having me. Here's a little something for the wine rack.
（是啊！謝謝你邀請我們。帶了一瓶葡萄酒給你。）
David：Oh! Elvin, you shouldn't have! Please, leave your shoes on. Let me take your jackets. You're the first set of guests to arrive!
（Elvin,你太破費了！進來吧，不用脫鞋了。外套交給我。你們是最先來的客人！）
Elvin：David, I love what you've done with the place.
（David, 你的房子佈置得太棒了！）
David：Thanks! I can't take credit for it though. It was all Olivia.
（謝謝！不過功勞不在我，都是Olivia弄的。）
Elvin：She's got great taste! Where is she?
（她真有品味！她人呢？）
David：She's upstairs getting ready. We'll give you the Grand Tour when she's here. But first can I offer you a beer? Wine?
（她還在樓上準備。等她下來，我們帶你們參觀一下房子。但是先喝點東西吧，啤酒還是葡萄酒？）
Elvin：I'm driving, just a soda for me please.
（我要開車，汽水就行。）
David：How about some hors d'oeuvres? We had a catering company make us a couple of platters. They're delicious!
（要不要再來點小食？我們請了一家餐飲公司給我們做了一些拼盤。味道很棒！）
Elvin：How could I resist?
