1. Give me five!

He always gives me a high-five when I win thegame.

我比賽獲勝時，他一向爲我雀躍。

After the baseball game, high-fives were givenall around.

棒球賽後，到處一片歡呼。(high-fives 用做名詞的多數)

2. fiver

英語中，以-er結尾的單詞通常是指人的，那麼　fiver　是指五個人嗎?不是，這個詞可是跟錢有關的：對於英國人來說，“五英鎊”偷懶的講法，就是這個詞;自然，對於美國人來說，這個詞也就是指五美元囉!例如：

- How much is that mug?

那個杯子多少錢?

- Fiver.

　　不只是裸露這麼簡單

bare：做形容詞時，意爲空的，裸露的，僅有的，稀少的。做動詞時意爲裸露，露出。

跟bare相關的習語又有哪些呢?

-bones：梗概，本質。

例句：This one is the bare-bones model. It hasno accessories at all.

這是最基本的模型。沒有其他的附件。

one’s head：脫帽致敬。

例句：Bare your head when the flag is raised.當旗子升起時請脫帽致敬。

the soul：訴衷腸。

例句：Mary bared her soul to Jane and Jane told Mary her problems also.瑪麗和簡互訴衷腸。

bare hands：赤手空拳，空手的。

例句：I beat him with my bare hands。我赤手空拳地打了他。

bare-hand：徒手。

Wu Juping caught the baby “bare-handed,” but also broke her arm in the process.

one’s teeth：呲牙瞪眼(發怒前的神態)
